Carolyn Shuey (St. Evdokia)
St. Evdokia began life as a pagan, a Samaritan woman who lived in Phoenecia (present-day Lebanon). She was introduced to the Christian faith by the monk Germanos, who was staying at a neighboring house. Under his guidance she became a Christian.
Carolyn is a talented iconographer, and has been painting Orthodox icons for several years using egg tempera on wood.
