Sun, rain, sun, rain, wind. The whirlwind of weather is the same as the whirlwind journey that Phu & Bill have walked together; the same beautiful mesmerizing adventure awaits them still. A crowd of people who love them and a thirst for celebration makes for one heck of a party.
At the picturesque Chesterfield Inn, Kerry and Patrick (nerdy TV enthusiasts totally in love with each other) nervously fidgeted their way into their wedding clothes. You'll notice that their table numbers are from their love of the show LOST, and that they had carefully saved the Polaroids taken at the workplace where they met to use as cupcake toppers.
It’s funny how life can bring you full circle. Almost a year ago, I reconnected with an old high school friend of mine, Julie, and photographed her family. We had a blast, and little did I know what fun was to be had on her big day!
On a chilly day in November, Teresa and Carter wed in the unusual and unique 2640 Space in downtown Baltimore. This wedding was the last in a long season for me, and I have to say that it was full of emotion, both observed and felt. I could feel the closing and completion of things; the sun set earlier, the toasts beginning in the dark of the winter evening, and the tears mingling the bitter and the sweet as the family raised their glasses in celebration.
