In this workshop, participants will see examples of what’s possible with the cyanotype process and get an introduction to the chemicals and equipment needed. We will create images on both paper and fabric. By the end, attendees will have at least three pieces to take home, a resource list, and knowledge to make their own cyanotypes.
The morning session (9:30-11:30a) is for children ages 7-12, and adults can register for the afternoon class (1:00-3:00p) at the Asheville Botanical Gardens. Each class is limited to 12 participants. The cost is $20 for non-members, and $15 for members, with a $10 materials fee. Pre-registration & pre-payment is required. Call 828-252-5190 to register; more information can be found on their website.
