Tiny moon cyanotype reproduction under resin pendant, with chain.
Cyanotype is a historic photographic process that does not use a camera. Instead, paper and fabric are treated with light-sensitive chemistry. Once dried, negatives or specimens are placed on the treated surface and exposed to ultraviolet light, using the power of the sun or a specialized light box. Rinsed in ordinary water, the print becomes permanent when fully dry. (See the process for yourself here.)
