In my workshops, I introduce the history of the cyanotype process, explain the chemistry and equipment, and give a demonstration. Students create their own images on both paper and fabric, then take home a resource list and the knowledge for how to make their own cyanotypes.

Students generally spend about two hours exploring the process, creating their own botanical-themed works of art using found materials and the power of the sun.

  • all materials are included in workshop fees
  • can be tailored for children (ages 6-12) or adults (12 and up)
  • classes run from 2-4 hours; must be scheduled during daylight

Because this process is at the whims of the sun, workshops will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather. If the student cannot attend the new date, they receive a full refund.
